Yet more Gloucester in the 1900s

We believe this picture was taken around 1905 in the old Eastgate Market Hall.

In 1907 there was a large fire at a wood yard in Gloucester Docks and, it would appear from the photograph , a vessel by the name of Salamander helped to put it out.

 

No prizes for guessing that the picture below is Staverton airfield in the 1900s.
