The family of a 28-year-old man who died in a collision on the A48 near Westbury-on-Severn last month has issued a tribute.

Jamie Thomas-Jeffery, known as Jamie Jeffery, from Minsterworth, died when his motorbike was involved in a collision with a horsebox on Sunday, 24 September.

His family said: “Jamie was a fun loving, sociable and cheeky guy, with a love for life, leaving a positive impact on everyone he met.

“He was an absolutely integral part of our family and a selfless person.

“He was dedicated in particular to his mum, Dee, and brother Anthony, with whom he would socialise at the weekend in their local pub.

“Jamie was originally from Kent and moved to Gloucestershire with work in the family business and was one of the most hard working people we have ever known.

“Our family, his colleagues and friends are absolutely devastated.

“He had so much to live for and to see that cut short at only 28 years of age is a complete tragedy.

“Our loss is crushing and he will be sadly missed and never forgotten.”
