It is close to the source of the River Thames and the beginning of the Thames long distance footpath.
Kemble village is just a few miles from the delightful Cotswold market town of Cirencester, and a half hour’s drive from Cheltenham. (See Local Attractions)
Cheltenham racecpourse is 40 minutes’ drive away. Racegoers may prefer to take the train from Kemble to Cheltenham for the famous National Hunt Festival (Gold Cup) in March.
