The Suffolk Arms
Located in the ‘Suffolks’ – a stylish area of Montpellier well known for it’s social life and specialist shops – the Suffolk Arms pub is one of Cheltenham’s oldest and most traditional pubs. Established in 1824, originally as a Coach-House, the pub has long been a popular meeting place for the locals and visitors to the area. It’s also popular with ghost hunters as there is at least one resident tapping in the cellar…
This family friendly pub is run by Rita & Alan Meaden, who have been at the pub for the last 12 years. Redecoration has recently been completed – with a function room / skittle alley / conservatory and small garden at the back.
The pub is proud of its warm atmosphere, selection of Real Ales, lagers, “And the BEST pint of Guinness in town!” says Pat O’Leary. Friendly staff and a genuinely friendly landlord are always around to help to make sure you enjoy your visit to the Suffolk Arms.
