The Carp Society

Formed in 1981, the brainchild of Tim Paisley and Greg Fletcher. The primary aim was to develop and promote Carp Angling which at that time was very much in its infancy.

Carp angling has developed into a major branch of angling over the 35 years since the Society’s inception. Our organisation has needed to keep pace with the rapid and ongoing commercialisation of our sport. Today, the organisation still abides by the founding principles of representing carp angling in the best possible way.
