On leaving school I became the fourth generation to work in the Radlett based family business, Burrell & Co (Builders Merchants) Ltd, becoming Managing Director in 1982.

I introduced a key cutting service in 1987 and always enjoyed the challenge of achieving a quality copy every time.

After the sale of the family business in 2002 and my father’s death in 2003, I moved to Gloucestershire in 2004 with my wife and our four children.

Since the move I have qualified as a locksmith with the UK Locksmiths Association serving the local area around Dursley, Gloucestershire, and operating a National postal key cutting service.
