NEW WORLD VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT

New World Restaurant first opened its doors in November 1991.

In 1991, New World had opened up in Tewkesbury to an excellent reception, with classical music star Nigel Kennedy making an appearance soon after opening.

The Restaurant appeared in the Good Food Guide for three years from 1993, and in 1995 the Restaurant was featured in an article in the Daily Telegraph, described as an “ambitious, well run outfit”, and somewhere “proof positive that one could let one’s hair down,”.

Since 1994, the New World has also been recommended by the Lonely Planet Guide to Britain.
