Developers are being sought for land with outline planning permission for 27 new homes off Chartist Way in Staunton to the north of Gloucester.
The 2.79 acre, L-shaped site is being marketed by Bruton Knowles on behalf of Robert Hitchins Ltd.
Harry Breakwell from Bruton Knowles’ Gloucester office said the site was near to recent development and included 40 per cent affordable housing divided between rental and intermediate properties.
A children’s play area is included on the western boundary.
“The masterplan envisages taking a spur road off Chartist Way to serve the new development of 1-4 bedroom homes, which will be surrounded by trees and shrubs.
“Staunton and neighbouring Corse have a range of facilities including a primary school, village hall, doctors’ surgery, garden centre, shop and a pub.”
Staunton is around nine miles to the north of Gloucester and around the same distance to Ledbury. It is also convenient for the M5 and M50.
“The Section 106 agreement will require Public Open Space provision and a contribution of £19,799 for off-site recreation.”
