An open day and exhibition is being held at Blackfriars Priory, in Gloucester, on 5 July to mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS.

The exhibition, which runs from 10am until 7pm, will showcase local NHS services as well as historic artefacts and photographs charting the history of the NHS in Gloucestershire since 1948 and beyond.

Free to enter, everyone is welcome to come along and take a trip back through memory lane or learn more about how treatment and support was provided in years gone by.

You can also find out about volunteering and career opportunities within the NHS locally.
