Gloucestershire born and bred, Landlord Steve Poulter has been a licensee for nine years now.
Real ales such as Sharp’s Doombar and Greene’s IPA are regular visitors to the well stocked bar and serve as a perfect compliment to the home cooked food that is the Carpenters Arms speciality.
Our chef lovingly prepares the highly acclaimed menu using using locally sourced produce wherever and whenever possible.

The Specials Board is regularly changing to offer an even wider choice from the pub’s kitchen and smaller portion meals are always an option for light eaters or the bigger kids.
Children are also welcome and catered for.
The Carps as it is affectionately known locally is always happy to cater for smaller functions or gatherings too (up to about 40 people) for christenings, birthdays, anniversary celebrations, funeral wakes or any other similar occasions.
