Indian food encompasses the cooking of many different regions, the country, the country itself is huge, over a million square miles and the foods are quite different from state to state. The use of spices sets Indian cooking apart from other cuisine it is by far the most aromatic of all types of cooking.
At Mumtaz each dish is made to its own distinctive flavour and aroma which cannot come from any curry powder, but from spices which have been prepared by our chef, each day fresh for each individual dish. We do not precook any of our food; we prepare your food as you order it. All our dishes can be made to any strength you require, namely, mild, medium or sweet; they can also be made spicy or hot. The thickness of the sauce can be made to individual requirement; all you need do is ask.
