Gloucester Pike and Muske pub 'machete' attack prompts murder probe

A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was fatally injured in an attack police believe involved a machete.

The 19-year-old victim died at the scene, outside The Pike and Musket pub in Tuffley, Gloucestershire, police said.

Three men were assaulted by a man with a weapon, at about 00:40 GMT, officers confirmed

A man, 22, was also seriously hurt, and is in a stable condition in hospital.

An 18-year-old man received minor injuries.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

A neighbour who was interviewed on Radio Gloucestershire this morning stated that they had never had any previous problems with the pub, so I don't think that it usually attracts mad machete murderers.
