Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident earlier this month which happened on Alvin Street.
Between 8.40pm and 8.50pm on Sunday 2 September a woman had been sat in her vehicle which was parked on the road when a man tried to open the car door where she was sitting.
When the man failed to gain access to the vehicle, he verbally threatened the victim. She drove off and was physically unharmed in the incident, but the situation was very distressing.
The man is described as being a black male aged between 18 to 25-years-old with a local accent and was wearing a dark hooded top.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
