Stephanie Elizabeth Eldridge
This page is dedicated to Stephanie ( Tats ) Eldridge, greatly missed by all who knew her. Her ashes were scattered here in 1988. Stephanie was a member of the diplomatic corps and served in New York, Cuba and Moscow. She ended her career at the local spy base GCHQ. She was known as Tats or Tattie by all her friends and family as when she was a small child she could not pronounce Stephanie, and the nearest she was able to come to her name was Tattenie.
While she was abroad, the magic envelopes franked "On her Britannic Majesty's Diplomatic Service" were eagerly awaited. A bright, intelligent, warm and caring person, Stephanie made friends wherever she went. Her ashes were scattered at Gloucester Crematorium in 1988. She was born on August 30 1951 and died suddenly in December 1988 just before Christmas. You can see more about Stephanie and our family at a new site.
