Robinswood Hill Gloucester

Gloucester from Robinswood Hill

Robinswood Hill is found at the Tuffley/Podsmead side of Gloucester on the main route to Stroud. At the St Barnabus roundabout, turn into reservoir road and you will find the entrance clearly marked.

The hill affords spectacular views of Gloucester and organised countryside events are run from here or simply enjoy a walk on your own.

The Gloucestershire wildlife trust have their headquarters on the hill. There is a shop for souveneirs and refreshments and there are also barbecue areas where the public can cook their own food.

Pixel ( the mascot of SoftData )and Vanda can be seen at the top of Robinswood hill. A magnificent place to see views of the country all around the city of Gloucester. The old quarry is still there, but it is all fenced off for safety reasons. The author can remember climbing up the cliffs there as a boy.
