This website was originally set up to recruit hemmed-in city folk for a community garden in Gloucester.
We were a group of allotment holders whose site had been closed when minor levels of contamination were discovered in the soil. |

The Chantry is a fine listed building dating in part from Tudor times. For the past forty years it has been owned by and served as the home of Thornbury and District Community Association, a registered charity.
