War underground is a great read about the tunnelers of the first war and i would think most people would not know of this massive and very dangerous job they did in this subterranean warfare under Flanders. This book is painstakenly researched from offical records and interviews with veteran tunnelers. It was first published in 1962 by Alexander Barrie ( Tom Donovan Publishing )...........
