Last year the public, with the help of John McEnroe, finally secured a new indestructible pair of Tennis Courts in Gloucester Park. In just a year they have become covered in weeds, litter and moss. Yesterday (18/6/07) the council took a look after complaints from the public wishing to use them and have promised to clean them up.

Why does it take complaints to spur them in to action? They may be indestructible, but they're not maintenance free.

Below is a picture of the courts as they looked today at 9:30am.
