On behalf of a friend whose father carved it, I am trying to trace the whereabouts or fate of the carved fox which sat in the stunted elm outside the `Fox & Elm` in Stroud Road, Gloucester in the latter half of the last century, before it became `The Owl`. Enquiries at the pub have not helped. Any relevant information would be very welcome..
