As part of the 'History on your Doorstep' project, Gloucestershire County Council's Archaeology Team has planned a free 'day school' for people to find out more about the history of Kingsholm.

The event will be held at Gloucester Rugby Club, in Kingsholm Road, from 9.30am to 1pm on March 17. People will be able to find out more about Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Medieval Kingsholm.

Places must be booked by calling Anna Morris on 01452 425 705 or archaeology.outreach@gloucester shire.gov.uk.
The Human eye is a wonderful device. With a little effort, it can fail to see even the most glaring injustice.
