The battle took place on February 20, 1643, when a tiny band of local militia stopped a 2,000-strong Royalist army on its way to attack Gloucester.
The Sealed Knot holds a memorial parade each February as well as a full-blown re-enactment of the battle in June.
The parade will start near the Co-op and march to the town's Market Place this Sunday
