My Name is Martin Middlebrook.

I am a Lincolnshire-born person of mature age who moved to Twyning near Tewkesbury four years ago to be nearer to the only one of our three daughters who live in England.

I have joined this forum for one purpose only: I am a military historian who is preparing an article about Norton Hall at Mickleton in the north of the county and require one piece of information before I can complete the article.

I am told rthat I should enter the enquiry on the Ancestry site but will place it here as well in case I am wrong about the Ancestry site - or, more likely, that I get into a muddle with the process.

For anyone who would like to know more about my background and career, they will find many details on the Wikipedia site that I have - just Google 'Martin Middlebrook'.

My request is for anyone who can give me more details about a lady only known as 'Mrs Willoughby' who owned Norton Hall in 1925-35. I believe that she might have been a war widow, which however sad for her if that is so, would be an important part of my article.

It is possible that 'Mrs Willoughby' was Dorothy Helen Willoughby, widow of Captain Edwin Charles Willoughby of Charlton Kings who died of wounds in the Gallipoli Campaign in 1915.

To make that link, or to leave 'Mrs Willoughby' of Norton Hall from my article, I need the forenames or at least the initials of the Norton Hall Mrs Willoughby.

Can anyone help me? Please do not send details of Captain Willoughby; my research has fully covered that gentleman.
