Police in the Barton area of Gloucester are urging householders to review their home security after a burglary over the weekend.
The break in happened at a house in Jersey Road between 11.30pm and midnight on Saturday February 4.
The offender stole a 32 inch LG television from the living room. The homeowners were upstairs at the time and they were disturbed by a noise, but by the time they got downstairs the offender had gone.
Entry to the house is believed to have been through the front door of the property. The householder believes they locked the door, however they have recently lost a set of keys so it may be that the offender used those keys to get in.
Anyone with information about this incident should ring police on 101 quoting incident number 5 of February 5. Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 orwww.crimestoppers-uk.org.
