ANTARCTIC explorer Edward Wilson is the subject of display boards at one of his favourite Gloucestershire buildings.
Wilson, from Cheltenham, who died on an expedition to the South Pole with Captain Scott 100 years ago, was known to have loved Gloucester Cathedral.

A keen artist, he depicted the cathedral in his drawings.
Information on his life went on show at the cathedral this week. The display marked 100 years since the explorers reached the South Pole before dying on their return.
It features some of Wilson's own artwork and also highlights the importance of the Christian faith to the explorer.
Bairbre Lloyd, from the cathedral, said: "The exhibition has been going well. We've had quite a few people come in and see it."
It will be running until Monday, April 9.
