Sadly I have to admit, I just don’t have time to update this site. It is a shame because there is great potential there, and it gets reasonable traffic, but I’m just too busy.

If anyone is interesting in buying England’s Portal  then please get in touch. The site includes a working directory and I’ll include a years free hosting.

It is marvelous to be in our new offices in Westgate St Gloucester. You can feel the buzz of the city with the bustle of shoppers passing by ouir office windows, and of course it is easy to pop out for a coffee or lunch.

The new office furniture is due here on the 28th, and Tammy Lynne will be coming the week after to take photos for us.

old dog is looking very poorly. I’ve been in and out of the vets all week trying to get her sorted, and of course spent a fortune in the process. If you are a dog owner you will know that there is really no choice. What ever it takes you just have to try. It isnt looking too good, but hope spring eternal.

The hosting business is going extremely well with 45 new customers this week and 18 transfers to us. In addition I have big news that I hope to announce on Monday, or Tuesday at the latest.

Added. Sadly Pixel is no longer with us. She went to sleep this week.

We have hosted the centre for some time now, and today I have been asked to convert the site to wordpress so they can update it themselves. This is an incredibly popular option now that wordpress has improved so much. So, off now to write a them for them.

I have just started a new web site for my daughter as she has just launched a wedding planning business. This is another site with a built in cms to allow her to update the site herself. Anyway, good luck Lara with the new business. I promise I’ll have the site finished in the next couple of days.

We have a board on our Gloucestershire forums called Tell us about your business . Any Gloucestershire business is welcome to post there and leave a link to their site.

Anyone reading this blog will already know that I’m a Gloucester man, and I and may family have connections with Gloucester going back centuries on my mother’s side of the family ( Knight ). We also have particular connections with Westgate Street. My mother was born in Westend Parade, and my family have been christened and married in St Nicholas church in Westgate St for generations, so it is with great pleasure that I can say that my company, SoftData Internet Ltd is moving to Westgate Street tomorrow morning. The Churchdown address and phone number will still be valid but our main operations are now in the old Alsms houses at the bottom of Westgate St. The full address is:
